My 4 favorite indie boutiques online and offline.
I'm loyal to the brands that I love. Once I love a brand, I keep on going back. I'm not brand promiscuous. I also love discovering new brands. Especially totally unknown independent brands. Indie boutiques are great places to find these brands. Indie boutique owners are true risk-takers with highly curated tastes. Their curation and unique point of view is what makes them so attractive.
Supporting independent boutiques is a human responsibility for those of us who value uniqueness. We need to become supporters of these temples of taste if we want them to withstand the test of time. That's why today, I'm sharing my 4 favorite independent boutiques to shop online and in person if you're lucky enough to be around the area. Although not all have a physical space.
Vestige

We are a curated space located in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Founded in 2015, Vestige is dedicated to inspiring concepts, unique products and thoughtful design. In our space, you will find a curated collection of apparel, apothecary and home goods from artisans and designers we admire. We are inspired by items that have a past and tell a story - we look forward to sharing those stories with you.

Atelier is a curated shopping experience for collectors at heart, showcasing a mix of brands from the US, Latin America, and Europe. Styling sessions and shopping are available by appointment only.
Maimoun
Maimoun is derived from the Persian language word “meh-moun” meaning the company or guest(s) who are invited to visit your home for a gathering. We welcome you into our online home where you are encouraged to wander through an edited collection of pieces from around the world. Our focus is finding new and established artists who honor the traditional, slow and thoughtfully carried out process of creation and construction. These pieces come together across clothing, home, print, and beauty, with the intention of offering you items that blend into and build out the individual context around you.
There are so many indie boutiques. I could make a very long list, but these four are the ones I keep going back to for inspiration, uniqueness, and newness. If I visit one of these websites, I'm bound to find something I love without spending endless hours scrolling down. The founders already did the hard work of curating items they knew their customers would love.
