Licuadora Brunch is a gathering place for creative souls. It’s a diverse newsletter for curious women, primarily focused on personal style—like how to wear overalls as a woman over 40. You’ll find my favorite recipes that I love to cook for friends and family, unique décor ideas, helpful recommendations for finding the quirkiest pillowcase dresses, and my thoughts on life, which I have many. In short, it’s a newsletter about things I enjoy.
I’ve never worked as a fashion editor for a magazine, and I’m not a seasoned writer. I just have a strong desire to share my passions with you.
I’ll start publishing once a week on Sundays. So, on Sundays, set aside some “you time.” Grab a coffee, tea, mimosa, or whatever beverage you enjoy, find a comfy spot, and dive into the newsletter. If you like it, keep reading; if not, feel free to return to your laundry or whatever else you do on Sundays.

Who am I?
I’m a woman in my forties going through the typical experiences that many women in this age group face. I love wearing overalls and sneakers with almost everything. I’ve never met a stripe I didn’t like, and I can’t resist a new tote bag—any tote bag! I enjoy sitting in coffee shops to get things done and chat with the staff (yes, I’m that kind of person). Oh, and I'm obsessed with olive oil!
No, really, who am I?
My name is Maria Cristina Acquaroni, and I am a producer, stylist, and creative director with over ten years of experience specializing in fashion.
I began my career as an image consultant and personal shopper, but it quickly evolved into other areas, including roles in front of and behind the camera as a TV show host and producer.
I have collaborated with branding and advertising agencies, working on various visual projects and events. Notably, I contributed to the backstage and runway production of the first Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Guatemala, which is my country of origin.
Additionally, I co-founded and served as the Style and Brand Director for the womenswear brand LIA COHEN.
Currently, I work as a styling professor at the Istituto Marangoni in Miami.
Boring stuff you might want to know...
My educational background includes studying fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan and fashion merchandising at the Miami International University of Art and Design. I am a certified image consultant and hold a bachelor’s degree in business. Currently, I am pursuing online studies in graphic design at the Rhode Island School of Design because I dream of becoming an illustrator and creating beautiful artwork.
